I have no idea about the third issue, but the second, BAD WMI STATE is common. It could be several things.

First, make sure WMI is working correctly on the SAP server. Go to BARK or another windows machine, and do wbemtest as described here:
http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/howtos/how-to-test-wmi-connectivity/
If that fails, you've got firewall/Windows issues on SAP, and need to resolve those.

This *may* be related to a bug recently discussed on the forums that is scheduled to be fixed in 2.2 where the timeout is set too low (100ms). Not much can be done for that.

This may also be the issue where it's transient and goes away after several hours. I don't know if that behavior is caused by the above bug.

And, it could be a Zenoss -> Windows bug. For instance, I think Vista/Server 2008 have some issues for Zenoss as things were changed so much.

Hi:

I hope somebody can help me about my WinService problem.

I download the VM box with ZeoOss 2.1.3 installed. Then i installed the "wmiperformancemonitor" Zenpack for windows server monitoring. I used the domain administrator account as the "zWinUser" the zProperties settings.

I added 3 servers. There three different behavior with winservice.
The first server.(BARK, domain controller)
this one is perfect. the "win services" shows automatically in the "OS" tab after i added
this device. And when i unchecked the "Monitored" check box, all the services are listed.

The second Server.(SAP, another domain controller)
the "win services" DOESN'T show automatically in the "OS" tab. But i can add any service of the server to the
"OS" tab. And all the services are listed in "/Services /WinService". But whether i unchecked the
"Monitored" check box or not, only the monitored services are listed.

The third Server: (TRUNK oracle db server)
the "win services" DOESN'T show automatically in the "OS" tab. I can add some general server such
as "DnsCashe (Dns client)". But when i try to add the oracle services in that server, i failed. And i also
find that all the oracle services are not listed in "/Services /WinService"

I checked the "zenwinmodeler.log", i found following error message
NORMAL MESSAGE FOR FIRST SERVER:
2008-04-22 12:32:36 INFO zen.zenwinmodeler: collecting from BARK using user
mydomain.ca/admin-iwa

ERROR MESSAGE FOR SECOND SERVER:

ERROR MESSAGE FOR THIRD SERVER:
