This is a really basic question. 

I want my dhcp server to notify my zenoss box if dhcpd has stopped.

I ran snmpconf and selected the "Check for processes that should be running" 
selection and selected the appropriate settings. 

I would assume now  that as soon as the snmp daemon detected the process dhcpd  
was not running that it would send a trap to whatever I specified in the trap 
destination in snmpconf. I would then expect to see an event in zenoss popup 
for that server telling me that dhcp had stopped. 

are my thoughts even remotely on track?
