This is a really basic question. I want my dhcp server to notify my zenoss box if dhcpd has stopped.
I ran snmpconf and selected the "Check for processes that should be running" selection and selected the appropriate settings. I would assume now that as soon as the snmp daemon detected the process dhcpd was not running that it would send a trap to whatever I specified in the trap destination in snmpconf. I would then expect to see an event in zenoss popup for that server telling me that dhcp had stopped. are my thoughts even remotely on track? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=19234#19234 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
