Hi all, We are newbies running Zenoss Enterprise 2.1.3 and having problems with monitoring Windows systems. The Admin guide says to install snmp-informant, but a quick trip to that website seems to indicate informant is not free. I've seen references in the forums to WMI Zenpack, but the admin guide makes no mention of it.
In addition to not seeing any performance graphs, we are getting odd alerts that we do not understand, for example, "IP Service microsoft-ds is down" . Now, on at least one system that service is not running, which begs the question - how do we stop it from reporting something we already know and don't care about?
