Rule of thumb: don't do *anything* with Zenoss using any user account other than the 'zenoss' user. That account has the proper environment set up, and all the proper permissions.
As to the zenoss user's default password...I'm sure the documentation mentions what it is, but I don't know it off-hand. You might want to check the docs out, or do a search on the forums. I know the question has been asked before. --seth On Sun, May 4, 2008 at 5:17 AM, tgranier <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > when i tire to stop zeoss from user root i get : > > > > zopectl daemon manager not running > i can't launch it > > any idea? > > > > > > -------------------- m2f -------------------- > > Read this topic online here: > http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=19315#19315 > > > > -------------------- m2f -------------------- > > > > _______________________________________________ > zenoss-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users > -- seth wright _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
