I'm trying to add a custom field to my 2.1.3, I named the label
"Apache Version" and the field "cApacheVersion". It's a string, with
empty default value and visible = true.
When I click Add, it shows a fadeout of "Property Added", but it's
not listed anywhere. I grepped the whole file tree, but I can't find
a text file that has it.
Please explain what I'm doing wrong.
Also, after I get this field visible, I would like to know how do I
set a value to each individual device. And how can I display it in
the Device Status (underneath OS field.)
Make sure you're adding your custom property at the root of the device
class tree: /Devices.
