For the love of all that is good and holy, please-please-please stop
spamming the list every ten minutes! I was in the process of reading
your second post when the third came in (and as I write this, a
fourth!). 38 minutes is not that long to wait. ;-)

Am I correct in translating "Permission non accordée" to "Permission
not granted"? If so, it seems like you don't have permission to
whatever directory the ".patchdeps" file is getting written to. But
that doesn't exactly make sense, because I thought you had to be root
to install RPMs (am I wrong?). Also, while you say you uninstalled
Zenoss, it seems like not everything was removed. Was this install
done on a clean system, as in a freshly-built system? Or was it just
an uninstall/reinstall? If it was the latter, I can attest to the
fact that you might have problems, because I did.

I would *very highly* suggest using the VMware player version of
Zenoss. It comes preconfigured so you don't have to install the
software at all, and you don't have to worry about the base OS not
being set up properly.
