It depends :D 130 devices doesn't seem like a lot, but it could be depending on what's being polled or the time they take to respond. Your zenperfsnmp log should give you total oid's polled and time taken. If your130 devices have 5000 oid's each is a lot, but that wouldn't be typical.
This could also be something as simple as a memory leak. I know some versions of Zenoss have memory leaks in the modeler daemon which causes it to grow quite large over time. Once you start hitting swap space collection times can jump up fast.
