Hi - I had a switch being monitored by Zenoss. I changed the SNMP string on it. I deleted the device, then added it manually in Zenoss with the new string. I then renamed the device. As a test, if I unplug an active port on the switch, I do get an alert. But, the device name on the alert is the OLD name. Also, Zenoss does not list the port as unplugged (i.e. red/amber icon), but I keep getting an email alert about the port. I even deleted the device and still the alert email was generated. Where does Zenoss store device info i.e. is there a path that I can navigate to and possibly delete the device folder from the server running Zenoss? Or is there any other resolution?
