Well I found it, and it's kind of embarrassing. I had to bind the correct template to the Devices/Server/Linux class.... Yes, apparently while making changes I mistakenly changed the template... What do you expect, I'm a brand new zenoss user haha... we live and learn. Thank you very much for your help magnachef!
