Hi Matt,

We followed the installation instructions wich came with the new version... 
Dont remember if it was on the web or readme ...

Anyway the problem got solved by adding following line to the scripts run by 
the zencommands:

# fix for zenoss lib{crypto,ssl}.so.0.9.8: no version information available
unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Was this also FreeBSD 6.1?  Which installation instructions did you follow?
