Log in as root to mysql via the command line and change the password for the user zenoss like described [1]. If you add another user you have to grant access to the zenoss db too. Of course, you need to change this information within your Zenoss system too. This can be done by select 'Event Manager' from the left menu and then you can enter the new information.
If you want to have a more handy tool for performing changes to your mysql databases/settings then you might want to take a look into phpmyadmin.
