Upgrading the server wasn't an option, so I had to chase this down. We're a bit nervous about going to 2.2.0 due to issues and brokeness we've had in the past. We're using this in a production environment, so there will be a bit of testing before the upgrade. That said, I just downloaded ZenOSS 2.2.0 and checked it out. Looks like the whole section of code in Products/ZenModel/DataPointGraphPoint.py that checks to see if the RRD file exists on the filesystem is missing. I imagine that this likely fixes my issue, though I haven't tested it.
