I just recently upgraded to 2.2 and had a bunch of problems i was having with Syslog events not recognizing the event class key and flooding my database with /Unknown entries.
So now that the root of my problem has been fixed, my database is now excessively large (82gb!!) and i need to do an emergency purge of all the bad events from that device before it fills up my disk so that the database can return to its normal 2-3gb size. I know i can reclaim this space just by dropping all the history but the only way i have found is to set the ZenEventManager aging threshold to 1 day. Of course doing that i have to wait for midnight to roll over for anything to happen. I was looking for something a little more immediate. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=22167#22167 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
