I guess that i am having same prob with Zenoss 2.2.0 on Centos 5.1. Everything was fine, but zenoss lost all the OS info from at least 1 server after upgrade. Snmpwalk doesn't timeout or give any error, but returns nothing. On the other box with windows snmp browser this server replies ok to snmp queries. Also, ping between zenoss and w2k server is ok and WMI-connections works fine. So i think that it's not an connectivity issue.
as an addition, at least strace and tcpdump logs of snmpwalk seems that connection is created, but nothing is ansrewed...
