So I'm having a heck of a time trying to get zenoss-2.2.0 compiled from source under Opensolaris on a Sun X2200 - SunOS hostname 5.11 snv_91 i86pc i386 i86pc
It seems that some packages want to be compiled with gcc and others with cc. I've installed the Sun Studio compiler 12.0, and I've tried using cc instead of gcc but no luck. The install will hang at various points, I'll fix it, the continue and it will hang at a different spot. Can I just manually build and compile all the packages in the build subdirectory with --prefix=/usr/local/zenoss ? Honestly I'm tempted to just get a 1u Dell server and install Linux on it for Zenoss to run on. I've followed some various guides to getting Zenoss running on Solaris 10 that I've found on the 'net and in these forums, but to no avail. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=22308#22308 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
