I did a source install of 2.1.2 on a physical FreeBSD 6.2 server that I've had running for about 8 months, and I've got 65 nodes in my Device List.
I just downloaded the appliance version of 2.2.0, and got it up and running easily on my VMWare ESX 3.5 server. I went over the instructions referenced above... sounds like a real pain in the butt, fraught with possibilities to break stuff. I'm just going to re-enter my 65 nodes from scratch in the new 2.2.0 instance.
