I need to add a bunch of IP devices. We will be performing simple ping monitoring based on the following post: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3731 The only problem is that most of the devices "names" will not resolve via DNS. So I have to add them as the IP, then rename in devices, and then console into the server and rename the RRD folder to the new name of the device. Is there a more streamlined way to do this? Or am I missing something simple in the "Device Add" where I can define the name and the IP as separate fields?
