I believe the "TcpStats" template under /Devices /Server is part of the default zenoss installation. I noticed this template and applied it to a device to get some additional ip information on one of my servers. It should return the following data points.
> established GAUGE > fin_wait1 GAUGE > fin_wait2 GAUGE > listen GAUGE > syn_recv GAUGE > syn_sent GAUGE > time_close GAUGE > time_wait GAUGE After I apply the template, I get the following error: > > summary Cmd: /usr/local/zenoss/common/libexec/check_tcpstats IP_ADDRESS > COMMUNITY - Code: 126 - Msg: Command invoked cannot execute, perm > message > > Cmd: /usr/local/zenoss/common/libexec/check_tcpstats IP_ADDRESS COMMUNITY - > Code: 126 - Msg: Command invoked cannot execute, permissions problem or > command is not an executable I cannot find this script as part of the standard zenoss 2.2 installation. I've run updatedb and tried to locate it with no luck. > # updatedb > # locate check_tcpstats > # cd /usr/local/zenoss/common/libexec/ > # ls > check_apt check_file_age check_jabber check_nntp > check_rpc check_time > check_breeze check_flexlm check_ldap check_nntps > check_sensors check_udp > check_by_ssh check_ftp check_ldaps check_nt > check_simap check_ups > check_clamd check_hpjd check_load check_ntp > check_smtp check_users > check_dhcp check_http check_log check_nwstat > check_smtp_send check_wave > check_dig check_icmp check_mailq check_oracle > check_snmp negate > check_disk check_ifoperstatus check_mrtg check_overcr > check_spop sqlnet.log > check_disk_smb check_ifstatus check_mrtgtraf check_ping > check_ssh urlize > check_dns check_imap check_mysql check_pop > check_ssmtp utils.pm > check_dummy check_imap_receive check_mysql_query check_procs > check_swap utils.sh > check_email_delivery check_ircd check_nagios check_real > check_tcp Does anyone have any information on this script? I can't even find anything googling for it...I figured it was a nagios plugin or something. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=22585#22585 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
