mmm
I know they say they have Cactii compatibility, but I've seen 0 info on
this or how it works.
What I would do is use AWK or something to get output like in Nagios
plugins:
Datasource|Datapoint=value
Then make the template so that you name the datasource the same as
above, datapoint the same.
Make sure you've got the graph points right.
Then remember to bind the template to the subclass (and use the ctrl key
when clicking so you keep the inherited bindings). Wait 15 minutes - see
if the magic happens.

There is a script in Cacti that monitors Postfix queues. What is the best way

I have created a local template for testing and can walk the OID.
Output:
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.53.101.0.1.1 = INTEGER: 1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.53.101.0.2.1 = STRING: "mailq"
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.53.101.0.3.1 = STRING: "/opt/TCS/scripts/getmailq-find.sh"
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.53.101.0.100.1 = INTEGER: 0
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.53.101.0.101.1 = STRING: "incoming:2 active:9 deferred:922
hold:0 "
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.53.101.0.102.1 = INTEGER: 0
DONE in 1 seconds
What would my DataPoints be? I created individual data points for incoming,
active, deferred, and hold. Those were then added to a graph and no graph is
listed under Perf.
