I have been trying to get my Zenoss system set to e-mail me if a SQL server goes down. I've got the monitoring set up, but I am no longer able to send e-mails (including test) from Zenoss.
It was working for a time, although I've not gotten any e-mails for some months now, as I turned off my existing alerts. I just updated to v2.2.3 today, from 2.2.0. Now, when I attempt to send a test e-mail, I am getting an error back: Test failed: socket.error - (111, \'Connection refused\') I also updated the OS of the system (Fedora Core) yesterday, for the first time in some months. I am using localhost for the SMTP. Any assistance would be appreciated.
