Hi all I've been searching the admin guide and the forums for an answer to this question. Is there a way to display the event ID of the down alert in the clear message?
Currently our email alerts go to a ticketing system and what I want to do is have to clear message auto resolve the ticket created by the down alert. The easiest way I could think to do this was to encode the event ID in the message then watch for that same event ID (or clearid )in the clear message. Unfortunately it looks like the clearID is only added to the original down event and contains the event id of the Clear message. I need to somehow reverse this functionality and have the event ID of the Down message added to the Clear message.
