Currently I monitor several wireless networks with Nagios. I am using Mikrotik routers on the properties. How I am doing this is by setting up all the access points as "Services" in Nagios and have NAT setup on the router to forward pings inside the network to the AP's.
Example: Router is 12.12.12.12 Nagios sends ping to 12.12.12.12:10101 Port 10101 is NAT'd to 10.0.0.101 Ping comes back alive and all is good. Can Zenoss do this? Right now I have python scripts that build all my Nagios cfg's from data contained in a CSV, and I dread the thought of building out a network with 150 AP's thru a web interface. Is there a way around all the pointing and clicking? Thanks for your time, Jeff -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=23031#23031 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
