Hello Zenoss sapiens,

I now venturing this complex side of Zenoss and got this problem currently on
event managements, mostly on events correlation and how I can automate tasks
when specified events coming in.

Problem example:
Currently monitoring several servers running on dynamic ips using mostly
Zenplugins and COMMAND of course. Therefore I monitor devices based on their
dynamic dns name. Whenever the servers changing it's IP (dhcp from ISP), Zenoss
Event will show (for any particular server) summary from /Status/Ping such as
"ip 212.32.56.5 is down"

Manual intervention:
Acknowledge the Event and push it to History, Go to Device, Reset IP and
remodel the device. It is not so convenient to do it that way if you have
hundreds of device to monitor.

Automated theory:
I wonder if I can make Zenoss continuously ping the domain name/ or every 5
minutes and when got positive ping reply, will issue events that can clear up
the Down message and push it to history i.e. no more annoying red color message
anymore.

I wonder how to make that happen with Zenoss? I read some stuff, and also the
Maintenance Windows thingy but not really understand on what I should do
first..

Thanks
