We are using version Zenoss 2.1.2. Under the settings section we have groups
set up with users added to the groups. There are then altering rules setup for
each group. For instance user a b and c are part of the alertofficehoursolnly
group and the altering rule is set to filter on the following:

component contains=checktcp
devise group=AlertGroup/applicationsofficehours
Eventstate=new
Production State=Production
Severity=Critical
Agent=zencommand

The alerts are all fairly complex like this, but they all work YET IGNORE
SCHEDULES. The alert outlined above has an active period that is set like this:
2008/04/22 08:30:00.000       09:00:00        Every Weekday   True
So, it should not alert after 5:30PM. Yet, the members of the group get paged
for this well after 5:30. It is not a problem with time on the server. We are
not using administered objects because we are using the filtering within the
alert rule to narrow down by devise group. Like I said the only thing that's
not working on the alerting is the schedules. Does version 2.1.2 have a bug in
schedules? Are administered objects required for schedules to work?

Very confused as I can see what's wrong with the setup.
