I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do here. Can't you just add
the network or the host as a device? If you cannot actually access the
remote computers, you'll need to add either VPN over to that network, or
get the Enterprise version for distributed monitoring, or have 2 Zenoss
Core instances...
