I'm not an expert and there are probably many ways to do this. I do know that 
the zendisc command has an option to specify an auto-allocate script. Though I 
have yet to figure out what this script needs to look like.

The bulk device loader tool seems to have a facility to specify which class to 
load the device into also. I read yesterday though haven't tested it yet, that 
you can simply create a text file with the class path on a line and then a list 
of device names on the proceeding lines. Apparently it will add the devices to 
the preceeding class path until it hits a new class path and then it will use 
that. Sounds great in theory! If your devices are already in Discovered... 
that's another issue I suppose. Sorry if it's not much help.
