None of your data is actually stored in Internet Explorer so when it crashes you won't lose any of the data in Zenoss. Most likely you just need to figure out where your devices went, by default they're stored in /Devices /Discovered until you categorize them. You can get to the Devices section of Zenoss from the left hand menu.
