Hi We use the MySQL replication monitor which can be downloaded here: http://www.logix.cz/michal/devel/nagios/
It is an NRPE script but its quite simple to make zenoss call the check_nrpe program and giving it a command as argument (requires nrpe running on client though), or maybe you can make the script use another host and then set the appropriate username/password/hostname up in the script itself.
