Hey All!

I'm wondering if someone can give me a leg up with Zenoss.

First of all, let me say, that the more I learn about Zenoss, the more
highly I think of it. (Can't tell you what I thought of it when I first
started using it though J )

In any case. I've reached a point where I'm doing very well and have all my
Solaris hosts and Linux hosts all playing nice together with Zenoss. However
I'm having an heck of a time with my HP-UX 11.11 machines. I
understandthat the SNMP package that comes with HP is not really the
ideal one to use
with Zenoss, and I have downloaded the HP-UX Zenpack which did go a long
way. But to this date, I cannot seem to get usage data for the mounted file
systems.

That is to say that I do get a list of FSs as well as their size however it
does not tell me what the usage is on that FS. Instead of a percentage or
number it simply says "UNKNOWN".

So I decided that it was a problem with the SNMP package that was installed
on HP to begin with. So off to compile and install net-snmp I went… "as that
is what was recommended in a number of posts." But I'm having such a hard
time getting NET-SNMP to compile!

So I ask, what are most of you doing about your HP-UX machines? Are you
using the packaged SNMP agent? Or installing Net-SNMP?

Are you using the HP-UX zenpack?

Thanks in advance for any direction!

*******Thanks!*

Mark
