Core isn't artificially limited, but yes, all Zenoss needs LOTS of
memory to work well. The forums has some scaling recommendations.

I have the exact same problem here, fresh 2.2.3 install.
The process is running, delete zenhub-1.zec dont help.
STARTED to happen while adding new devices manually with zAutoDiscover True.
Heartbeats started to fail etc filling the logs about Timeout connecting to
zenhub: is it running?
Reboot did not help.
The only solution for me was to start removing devices.
So either the open Core version is limited or hopefully its because the server
hardware speccs to low with to little memory, but the CPU aint spiking doring
normal work, just when adding devices and mibs.
Since Zenoss seems to eats up all memory it can it is hard to see when it hits
the wall or is about to.
