I'm pretty new to ZenOSS, and so far it appears to be a great product. I'm still struggling with a few things.
I've been able to get it to discover my systems, and on a few of the systems, I've been able to get it to monitor the services that I want it to monitor. The problem arises when I try to get it to monitor additional devices. Take this for example : Webserver1 - it's monitoring DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and FTP just fine Webserver2 - it see's this system, is showing it as up, but will not monitor DNS, SMTP, HTTP, or FTP. It shows no IP services. When I try to add an IP service, it asks TCP or UDP, but does not allow me to click on the OK button. I try to re-model the device, but it does not show anything else for the device. I'm baffled as to how to get it to add those services to a server that is running those services, but for some reason ZenOSS won't let me add them.
