Hi, Our group is in desperate need of a monitoring system and after having tried zenoss back in 2007 we had switched to something else (that had it's sets of flaws/limitations)..
Now I was pretty happy to see that zenoss had more zenpack and looked more polish but after spending a week configuring a 2.2.3 install I seem to run into the same darn problems I had in 2007... the auto-discovered linux (RHEL3/4/5) host were moved to the the /Server/Linux class. One of my first issue was that the IMAP IP service is not detected. And even after enabling the service manually and remodeling the device in question it still doesn't show up under OS/Services... while most other ones do... I've spent most of the week reading the forums trying desperately to find some documentation but it seems I'm at the same point I was a year ago.. In leads would be much appreciated.
