Settle down, I have set it up using check_ping and now I use native ping clients (I even put up a wiki page at http://www.zenoss.com/community/wiki/user-contributed/SmokepingishLatencyGraphs/ ), but my point is that since zenping is pinging everything anyway, why not have it collect latency info and give you some statistics automatically?
