I'm testing out a few different server monitoring products, and I really like the look and capabilities ZenOSS has. My problem is I haven't been able to test much of it yet. I set it up on a server on our network this week to play around with it. We run SNMP v3 on all of our Linux servers. I can scan for a server, and it finds it and adds it, but doesn't seem to pull an of the expected data from it.
When I go to Device Status for the device, the only Components it shows me are IPRouteEntry and IpInterface. When I go to the Perf tab, it is empty. Where do I go to configure this so it shows me things like CPU Load, etc? I've poked around in the Admin guide for a while and can't seem to find anything that says "you have to go here and enable it first". Sorry if this is a frequently asked question...I didn't find any help from a search.
