My suggestion would be to abandon the built in process monitoring and create a template that runs a nagios plugin. I struggled for a month before I gave up on the built in process "monitoring". The final straw was that the linux snmp client sometimes does not return the full process list, or else zenoss sometimes forgets a process exists and would send out false alters when the system was under load. anyways...
Yes, my suggestion would be skip it and write a template. You will sleep much better. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=25773#25773 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
