It is funny the article about Zenoss enabling the mid market with a new Professional offering when what they did was to increase the price in the Enterprise Edition and minimum install base, and replaced the old $100 and 100 devices minimum with the name Professional with a less functional product. Wondering if they are doing this to Paid custumers (Increase the price and give you less for what you use to get for $100), what will happen to the Core product once it matures some more with the help of the community. Zenoss is resembling more and more in their ways to another well known former Open Source company, Tenable Security (makers of Nessus) that now is closed source and left a whole community scrambling for new alternatives.
