:D Matt, thanks for your quick reply and suggestions. After visiting your links I kept perusing the site and found the answer! Sometimes I wish Zenoss one day will build and Optional Agent (specially for Windows) to be used in these cases.
The easiest way is already documented in Zenoss Howtos: Setup syslog to forward messages to Zenoss http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/howtos/setup-syslog/. Using the Agent from Datagram you can pretty much send any Windows text log as a syslog message to Zenoss or a syslog server like Syslog-NG. The Agent is based on Free Open Source code of NTSyslog so it can be used free of charge. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=25982#25982 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
