I am to the point were this is cause real headaches for me. I have a clean install CentOS 4.4 with zenoss-stack-2.2.3-0 on a Dell 1850 with 2 gigs of RAM and dual 3.0 Mhz monitoring 220 devices.
After a few minutes, hours, days, (no particular pattern) zenperfsnmp stops running. SNMP information like disk utilization show up as 'unknown'. Only a reboot seems to fix everything. (I can't understand why I have to reboot the server.) Restarting zenoss-stack does not fix the issue because of old pid files, etc which I probably can remove but that not the focus of the issue right now. Does anyone know what can be causing this. I started zenperfsnmp with debug turned on today. I also see after a while heartbeat warning in syslog for localhost.localdoamin.
