Don't install zope like that. Zenoss comes bundled with its own copy of Zope so 
it is unnecessary and won't work either. The reason you got the error about 
zeoctl/zopectl was how you started Zenoss.

Instead of running "zenoss start" as the zenoss user you need to run "service 
zenoss start" as the root user the first time you start it so some 
initialization can be done.
