For Windows, did you configure the servers to a) have SNMP installed b) have it enabled/running c) allow access from and send traps to the Zenoss server IP?
For WMI, did you provide the admin credentials on the Windows server side in the Zenoss zProperties? Search the forums and admin guide for lots of discussion on this.
