You can do it with zendmd to bulk disable an IP process, I don't know
the exact syntax but the "Lock all filesystems of a class?" example is
probably a good start.

We have a large group of legacy systems that I have to monitor.
Most, if not all of our Tru64 hosts have a process in them that
matches the regex for SNMPd and Zenoss takes it to be a mail server.
Since nothing is ever listening on port 25 I am constantly getting
alterts and removing SMTP monitoring from the hosts.
My question: Is there a way to either edit the template for a device
class and disable smtp checking or a way to bulk disable an IP
process? I do not want to completely kill smtp monitoring on our
Linux hosts because that could be a big embarassment.
Thanks
