i put the smsemail.patch into the ...../zenoss/Products folder when I ran the patch command i had a few errors in the UserSettings.py( ZenModel folder) file , which I had to manually fix up ( just compare the file to the intended changes listed here http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/attachment/ticket/2652/smsemail.patch )
and an error in the Zenactions.py in the ZenEvents folder ( one of the line had one too many charactor , an "n" add the end of line which didn't belong), only showed up after restarting zenoss. i am running zenoss 2.24 Works fine for me .
