I think Zenoss should have some sort of dependency setting, where you can set X Device or X Location to depend on Y device, so that when Y goes down Zenoss knows thats why it can't reach X.
I don't know of any way to set this up. But really this shouldn't happen often in any decent network... [Wink] i.e. single points of failure should be avoided. Or does your Zenoss box live in the Satellite office?
