I think one reason people don't do it, is that they might be concerned that the 
vent represents an actual problem somewhere, which as I understand it, it does.

It appears to be a port connection issue related to modeling the device.  So 
it's related to modeling a Windows device that has a firewall (either Windows 
firewall, or a real firewall).

I think it can be safely ignored, though I'm not sure what (if anything) isn't 
getting modeled because of the error.
