Ok guys, try this -

You do the copy, you change the name. Now try these steps, they seem to be
working for me:

Stop Zenoss
rm -rf $ZENHOME/var/*.zec
find $ZENHOME/perf -name *.pickle -delete
Restart Zenoss

Now what you did there was clear out a bunch of caches. I didn't make this
stuff up, its actually mentioned in the upgrade instructions in an install
guide, I just applied them to this problem. After that, try waiting a while.
If that's no good or you don't want to wait try this:

$ZENHOME/bin/zenperfsnmp run -v10

That will go through all of your devices and tell you what's up. After
clearing the caches I was getting some errors but those errors went away after
a few runs. If you look at the output you should be able to see Zenoss
querying all the OIDs for a device, some of which are the 64bit eth ones,
here's some sample output from my setup:

DEBUG:zen.RRDUtil:/data/zenoss/zenoss/perf/Devices/tools121/os/interfaces/lo/ifHCOutUcastPkts_ifHCOutUcastPkts.rrd:
 23996938L

Anyhow, give that a few runs, look for errors and start from there. I think if
you do these steps you'll reset enough stuff to get things moving again. Hope
that helps some people out there.
