Thanks for your reply. I am aware of what a segmentation violation is (I've written code that trigger them ;) ). I need to know what is causing this particular one and I'd be surprised if it was OS (kernel) related. We're running Zenoss 2.2.4 on RHEL4 with kernel 2.6.9-78.ELsmp. We keep it up to date with patches from Red Hat. This is not a customized install.
