I'm not entirely clear as to what you mean by some of your previous posts, so if I've misunderstood some part, please let me know. I'm going to toss in some other things that you probably already know, but only for completeness.
The ApacheMonitor ZenPack actually uses HTTP to gather the statistics, not SNMP or a command. So the first thing to determine is whether or not the Zenoss server actually has the rights to view that 'stats' page from your web server. If you can't access the page using wget from the Zenoss server as the zenoss user, then neither can Zenoss. The Apache home has configuration information needed for your Apache servers so that it will display that page. More than likely you will need to restart your Apache server if it's not configured to display that info. Next, the template for Apache needs to be bound to your server under Zenoss. Navigate to your server, from the page menu select More -> Templates, which will bring you to the templates screen. From the table menu select Bind Templates. In this dialog, hold down the control (ctl) key while selecting the templates you want (eg Devices and Apache). Go to the Perf tab and in a few polling cycles (10 to 15 minutes) you should have graphs. The other pages showing tracebacks are not too big of an issue as that URL path isn't normally accessed from the Zope web interface, but is usually only touched programmatically. (I might be misinterpreting how you got there.) kells -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=27053#27053 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
