Thanks. Once I figured out the syntax to get the average and max values it
works like a charm.
I am setting a threshold of "Average Latency + 1/2 of Maximum Mean Deviation"
or
here.getRRDValue('Check_Ping_avg',None,None,'AVERAGE')+0.50*here.getRRDValue('Check_Ping_mdev',None,None,'MAXIMUM')
We'll run with this and see if it provides the tripwire we need.
