In my understanding maintenance windows should work if you specify that the certain device is dropped to production level "maintenance" for some period of time, for example 1 hour after 23:30. You just have to specify to alarm that it is triggered only for devices at production level "production".
Even so that this *should* work, I was not able to get it to do so when I tried this for some months ago, so maybe there is some bug in the alarms??
