Although it seemed straigh forward, but i cant figure out how to do it ! i'm trying to monitor my squid http proxy server (running on port 3128). So i tried to create new service , so i select "Add IP services", i name it squid_test , i can set the port to 3128, but not the protocol (TCP or UDP), so i assume the name/keys must be named tcp_03128 or udp_03128 ! is this correct ? then how should i monitor http proxy, should i treat it as HTTP server running on port 3128 ? given that i only want to check whether its up or not, not that its functioning correctly or not ! or if i want it to be monitored for malfunctioning !
Now when i try to add it to device, it appears in the auto-complete list, but when i select it and select tcp, zenoss sayas it cant find an ip service with this name!!
